Overview

NetHack is a well-known roguelike game that has been ported to many systems.

Controls

D-PAD Move NSEW / Menu navigation
CIRCLE Enter key / Confirm
CROSS Space key / Select
TRIANGLE Esc key / Cancel
SQUARE List previous message
SELECT View inventory
START Open Special Context Menu

Special - Left Shoulder

The following button functions are applicable when the LEFT SHOULDER trigger is pressed:

D-PAD Fast NSEW
CIRCLE Pick up
CROSS Open
TRIANGLE Close
SQUARE Search
SELECT Display useful information
START Save game and Quit

Special - Right Shoulder

The following button functions are applicable when the RIGHT SHOULDER trigger is pressed:

D-PAD UP Go up stairs
D-PAD DOWN Go down stairs
CIRCLE Fire ammo in quiver
CROSS Throw
TRIANGLE Cast spell from spellbook
SQUARE Zap wand
SELECT Select quivered item
START Exchange weapon with alternate

Special - Both Shoulders

The following button functions are applicable when both the LEFT SHOULDER and RIGHT SHOULDER triggers are pressed simultaneously:

D-PAD UP Move NE
D-PAD DOWN Move SW
D-PAD LEFT Move NW
D-PAD RIGHT Move SE
CIRCLE Known discoveries
CROSS Teleport
TRIANGLE Show what type of thing a visible symbol corresponds to
SQUARE List known spells
SELECT Toggle ASCII / graphic mode
START Switch to explorer mode
